I finally got my ABNA act together (as I am working under a 'deadline').

Manuscript...check.
Excerpt...check.
Kickass pitch...check.
Bio (slightly touched up from last year)...check.
Author photo...check.

Of course I also had to do the time calculation thingy whereas registration begins 12:01EST Jan 25 which is actually 9:01PST Jan 24th where I live. This is totally the type of thing I'd slip up on because I was too focused on preparing the package.

As I look forward to writing life post welcoming baby, I wonder where my inspirations for this blog will come from?

I expect I won't be doing too much 'new' writing for a while, and my ire with world politics and the like will take a temporary back-burner placement.

Also, I want to add that I'll be moving any discussion, announcement of and other material related to baby away from this location as I would rather keep 'here' a tad more focused on writing and life in general.

I'll probably create a private blog or something like that for baby as well...we'll see. Like I don't already have enough writing commitments, but I swear the internet makes it soooo easy to keep EVERYONE up to date at once.

Anywho, I can't promise much excitement here for the time being, but I'll manage to pop in when the writing mood strikes. Whether it's updates on writing or practicing my style vis a vis commentary.
