iHeart my iPad...

This isn't about loving Apple, though.

I do not consider myself a tech junkie...that's my husband's job. He's more like a sommelier, however, in the sense he understands the many fine nuances of all things tech gadget while I say things like: "So how's the iPad not like a giant iPod Touch."

To that, he rolls his eyes.

But when I recently got it stuck in my head that having an iPad would improve my odds of writing more than Amazon reviews and Facebook updates, he took the initiative.

Sure, I was prepared to wait until Christmas/my birthday to get one, but he's watched how I've been struggling with not finding any meaningful time to write for months.

So, he comes home the other day with a card featuring Van Gogh's Cafe Terrace at Night and I was like: "Surprise trip to Paris?"

But no...my surprise was an iPad waaaaaaay early.

Already I'm warming up to the possibilities.

And while I greatly appreciate this awesome new tool to help me sneak in writing any which way I can...I'm even more appreciative that my husband took the lead on this matter, responded to my angst and did something wonderfully sweet to show he genuinely supports my creative efforts and,of course, loves me.
